What We’re Tracking
- Humidity steadily climbs
- Not as warm Thursday
- Isolated storm chances
Temperatures weren’t quite as hot today compared to just yesterday. Tonight, we’ll drop into the mid-60s with a south wind gusting up to 20 mph. We will stay mostly cloudy, but rain chances remain low as a weak upper-level low passes to the south of Northeast Kansas.
Slightly cooler weather will stick around for Friday to wrap up the work week. Highs will reach the low 80s under mostly cloudy skies. A stray isolated shower is possible, but overall rain chances remain low. Winds will stay out of the south, gusting near 20 mph, making for a cloudy and breezy end to the week.
Summer-like warmth returns for the weekend. Highs will climb into the upper 80s to low 90s. A few scattered storms are possible Saturday, but most areas will stay dry through the weekend. Humidity will also begin to build as we head into the latter part of the week.
