What We’re Tracking
- Summer-like Temperatures Return
- Best storm chance on Tuesday
- Staying humid all week
Highs today will climb into the upper 80s with lower 90s in some areas. Most areas will clear out this afternoon with mostly sunny skies. Humidity levels will stay high enough each day to give us a bit of a heat index, running generally a few degrees higher than the air temperature each day.
We’ll start out the week in the 90s with sunny skies. Rain returns mid-week after a hot and humid start. The best chances for rain will be Tuesday night into early Wednesday with scattered storms anticipated. Some storms could be severe in areas, but after that rain chance, we set up for a more typical summer pattern with increasing levels of heat and humidity.
The rest of the week, highs should reach the middle 90s giving an above average outlook ahead.
