MANHATTAN (KSNT) – The Manhattan Fire Department (MFD) reported that it responded to a fire at a Manhattan Walmart last Friday. The company told 27 News that the fire will impact pickup and delivery services.
Firefighters were called around 4:45 p.m. on June 13 to a Walmart at 101 Bluemont Avenue for reports of a fire. Walmart employees were able to extinguish the fire that had broken out in the middle of the store.
The MFD said nobody was injured and the property loss from the fire had yet to be determined as of June 13. The MFD said the damage is expected to be considerable because of smoke damage in the building.
