TOPEKA (KSNT) – Seeing an all-white animal in the wild may make some people think they’ve seen a ghost.
The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) Game Wardens shared a photo on social media on June 18 of a rare albino fawn. Sightings like this are exceedingly rare with the odds of albinism occurring in wild deer being about one in 30,000 to one in 1,000,000.

The KDWP did not release where the photo of the albino fawn was taken.
Why are so many strange catfish coming out of this Kansas lake?
27 News is reaching out to the KDWP for more information on this rare sighting. Additional details will be added here as they become available.
