TOPEKA (KSNT) – Fairies, knights, mermaids and more are in Topeka this weekend for the Renaissance Festival.
People are invited to swing by the Woodshed Event Center in north Topeka to visit the first annual Topeka Renaissance Festival. Numerous fun activities and events will take place during this weekend event for both children and adults.
- Three jousting shows each day.
- Living history encampments.
- Axe throwing.
- Bow shooting.
- Sword fighting.
- Art contest.
- Gnome home contest.
- Petting zoo.
- Face painting.
- Team tug of war competition on June 22.
What firework stands will open in and around Topeka for 2025?
The Topeka Renaissance Festival will also have sections for vikings and pirates during the event. Tickets for adults are $30 for the weekend and $16 for a single day with children needing to pay $10 for the weekend and $5 for a single day.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22. at 1901 North Kansas Avenue. You can buy tickets online by clicking here or at the gate.
