What We’re Tracking
- Mainly clear tonight
- Scattered storms end of the week
- Cooling early next week
Mostly clear and warm tonight with lows in the middle 70s.
Our dry period of time is short lived as we expect another chance for storms returning by late Thursday. Dewpoints remain in the upper 60s to lower 70s thanks to a mix of southerly winds and moisture left behind from these storms. Highs in the lower to middle 90s ahead of the rain chance.
As we approach the weekend, all of northeastern Kansas begins to dry out as temperatures cool back only into the lower 90s, some areas in the upper 80s. The weekend won’t be so much of a “cool down”, but more of a return to average temperatures giving many of us a break from heat and humidity.
