What We’re Tracking
- Mostly dry Wednesday
- Few storms end of the week
- Cooling early next week
Despite the rain from yesterday, temperatures remain hot, with highs in the low 90s continuing much of the week. Today looks to be the driest day of the week with mainly clear skies and highs in the low to mid 90s.
That dry time is short lived though as we expect another chance for rain returning by late Thursday. Dewpoints remain in the upper 60s to low 70s thanks to a mix of southerly winds and moisture left behind from these storms.
As we approach the weekend, all of northeastern Kansas begins to try out as temperatures cool into the low 90s, some areas in the upper 80s. The weekend won’t be so much of a “cool down”, but more of a return to average temperatures giving many of us a break from heat and humidity.
