JACKSON COUNTY (KSNT) – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reports a person used a truck in “running down” a motorcyclist, causing injuries after responding to reports of gunshots.
The sheriff’s office said deputies responded to a report of a person with a gun threatening people and a report of gunshots around 3:30 a.m. on June 30 in the 18100 block of S. Road. Deputies found that a truck had been used to cause injuries to a man and that a second vehicle had been hit by the truck.

A 37-year-old from Mayetta was arrested in connection with the incident and is being held in the Jackson County Jail. The sheriff’s office said the incident is still under investigation and that more information will be provided as it becomes available.
