PERRY (KSNT) – More than 6,000 people have responded to a Facebook event for a Perry Lake neon glow party happening later this month.
27 News spoke to the Perry Lake Glow Party (Boats and Glows) organizer Nick Dunagan, who said the event has gained more attention than he’d anticipated. He said this will be the first event of its kind at Perry Lake.
“It is just an idea I had and made a public event for it to spread the word among the local lake goers,” Dunagan said.
The party will be held at 8 p.m. on July 12 at the Perry Lake Party Cove, according to the Facebook event listing. Attendees are asked to bring their own glow sticks and lights. The party will be on the water, only accessible by boat.

“I hope that it has a good turnout and everyone that attends is safe, responsible, and has a good time,” Dunagan said.
