What We’re Tracking
- Hot and sunny 4th
- Isolated storms later tonight
- Better rain chances over the weekend
Many of us starting off the day in the lower to mid 70s. It does feel a bit humid out with dewpoints in the upper 60s, low 70s in some areas. Today will start off mainly sunny with clouds increasing throughout the day.
We are tracking a slim chance for a few isolated afternoon storms today mainly affecting the western half of the area. The best shower/storm chance is in central Kansas. The main round of rain holds off until after midnight. Even that looks to fall apart as it moves into northeast Kansas. Highs today will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s with dewpoints in the upper 60s to low 70s.
A better chance for a few showers and storms on Saturday and again later Sunday. In between, we will still warm up into the upper 80s to near 90° each day.
