What We’re Tracking
- Isolated storms tonight
- Muggy end to the weekend
- Summer heat continues
We’re tracking the chance for a few storms to move through tonight, mainly after sunset. Storms are expected to develop in our northern counties before drifting southward. Where storms do form, expect gusty winds and heavy rainfall, though the overall severe threat remains low. Temperatures tonight will drop into the lower 70s, but humidity will stay elevated, making for a warm and sticky night. Winds will remain light out of the southwest.
Looking ahead to Sunday, expect another warm and muggy day. Most of the area should stay dry, with plenty of sunshine to wrap up the weekend. Winds will shift to the north and remain mostly calm.
As we head into the start of the new week, storm chances return by early Monday afternoon, though much of Monday should stay dry. Summer-like temperatures will stick around into next week, continuing the warm and humid pattern.
