What We’re Tracking
- Isolated storms later tonight
- Muggy end to the weekend
- Summer heat continues
The better chance for scattered showers and storms arrives today. Despite the rain, temperatures will still climb into the upper 80s to low 90s. The most widespread rain looks to move through tonight, which appears to be our best window for rainfall this weekend. This round of storms could bring gusty winds and heavy downpours as a boundary moves through.
A few isolated storms are possible on Sunday, but the day won’t be a washout. Expect another warm and muggy day. Looking ahead, another chance for storms arrives early in the upcoming week, with summer-like temperatures sticking around.
