What We’re Tracking
- Muggy end to the weekend
- Summer heat continues
- A few storm chances ahead
Temperatures will dip into the lower 70s under a mostly clear sky. Light northeast winds will persist overnight. As temperatures cool, patchy fog may develop in some areas before sunrise on Monday.
Looking ahead to Monday, storm chances return by early Monday afternoon, but much of the day should remain dry. Highs will climb into the lower 90s, with light easterly winds continuing. The best chance for showers and storms will arrive after sunset Monday night, though the overall severe threat remains low for our area.
A scattering of storms late Monday could carry over into part of Tuesday, but still clearing out and heating up in between these rounds of storms. Summer heat and humidity will stick around into the week ahead.
