TOPEKA (KSNT) – The State of Kansas just reached two important milestones this month with its apprenticeship program and number of employers it has to offer.
The Kansas Office of Registered Apprenticeship shared on July 8 that there are now 3,500 registered apprentices in the Sunflower State. The office reported this the largest number of apprentices in Kansas history and a great benefit for the state’s workforce and communities.
More than 1,000 registered employers are also now part of the apprenticeship program as of July 10. The Kansas Office of Registered Apprenticeship said this is the highest number of employers it has recorded.
“That’s 1,000+ businesses investing in talent, building stronger career pathways, and helping shape the future of the workforce. Thank you to every employer who believes in apprenticeship. Your partnership makes all the difference.”
