- Mid-week rain chance
It’s cool starting this morning with temperatures in the middle to upper 60s. The sky is mostly clear and the wind is calm. Highs today climb into the low 90s, right around average for mid-July. Winds remain light out of the southeast, offering little relief from the summer heat.
Humidity stays in check for today with dew points in the lower 60s to start the work week. We’ll stay warm and dry through at least midweek. Humidity is expected to continue to increase progressing through this week.
By Wednesday, temperatures rise into the mid-90s ahead of our next cold front. That front moves in Wednesday evening, bringing our best chance for rain this week along with a brief cool-down. Scattered storms are possible through the end of the week, but the heat bounces back quickly. expect highs in the mid to upper 90s by next weekend.
