WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Garden City Police Department is investigating a shooting that left three seriously injured on Wednesday.
According to Erinn Reyes, GCPD public safety assistant, the shooting happened around 5:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Buffalo Jones at the Continental Apartments. The victim was taken to the St. Catherine Hospital in serious condition.

Reyes said that after the victim was taken to the hospital, officers were notified by hospital staff that two additional gunshot wound victims were dropped off at the hospital. Right now, the department is investigating to see if the shootings are connected.
All three victims are in serious condition and are being transported to Wichita hospitals.
St. Catherine Hospital was placed on lockdown following the arrival of the gunshot victims.
