Deano’s at Deer Creek is a new restaurant in Topeka but draws heavily from the legacy of the last restaurant that occupied its space: Lonnie Q’s BBQ. Weaver told 27 News in June he is taking up his father’s vision of serving barbecue favorites to locals while also adding in some new options of his own design.
