What We’re Tracking
- Hotter for the weekend
- Long stretch of dangerous heat
- No major rain relief
An isolated shower is possible for some tonight, but most areas will stay dry and partly cloudy with a low only falling into the middle 70s with muggy air in place.
Temperatures are expected to keep warming all throughout this weekend into the start of next week. We can be seeing triple digits as early as Sunday. The combination of heat and humidity this weekend makes heat indices 100-105+ degrees possible. There are chances of isolated rain showers both Saturday and Sunday mornings, but not expecting widespread rain and it will clear and still turn very hot each day.
The start of the new week won’t be any different than this weekend. Highs throughout the entirety of the week are expected to be 100+ degrees. Heat indices everyday can be as high as 105-110. Remember to limit time outdoors, find shade if possible, and hydrate.
